About

What We Believe

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God – God’s special revelation of Himself to mankind. Speaking into the darkness of a sinful world, the Bible offers the most profound, life-changing message of hope and light – a message that is summed up so powerfully by the words of John 3:16:

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.’

We believe that in response to God’s goodness and mercy, we are called as the church to serve Him faithfully in every area of life. We believe that spending time with God in His Word, in prayer, in worship and in fellowship with other believers helps us reflect something of the love of Jesus Christ back into the community in which we live and serve.

We long to see Jesus known and praised in North Tolsta. To see the Good news shared from the Glen to Garry.

What We Do

The North Tolsta Free Church congregation was sanctioned as a full charge congregation in 1948, prior to its sanctioning as a full charge it was part of Back congregation of the Free Church of Scotland.
